A chance meeting in the elevator banks...

Our story began long before we ever started dating, on the 34th floor of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York City.  Despite attending the same law school, having the same larger group of friends, and being members of the same fantasy football league, we hadn't ever met -- until one day during Pat's Willkie summer.  Jess, a second-year associate at the time, introduced herself to Pat in a chance passing at the elevator banks.  A mutual friend had given Jess the heads-up that Pat would be a summer associate, cryptically described Pat as being "just like Patrick Batemen," adding that Jess would like him.  After that, we went on our merry ways for years, until a fateful firm walk-off lunch at Beni Hana. They say when you know, you know, and we knew immediately.  We couldn't get enough of each other (Jess thankfully appreciated Pat's constant mocking and schoolyard style flirting), and the rest was history.  We fell in love and have been inseparable ever since.  On June 9, 2018, Pat sent Jess on an escape-the-room style personalized scavenger hunt around all of Manhattan, which (several laborious hours later) led her to a 100 year old Pin Oak tree in Central Park where Pat asked Jess to spend forever with him.  Forever could never be long enough.
